Dr. Skorpius is a minor character in The Replacements. He is the archenemy of Agent K.

Biography

He has a scorpion tail-shaped beard and is usually trying to take over the world in some way. He is also known for speaking with a lisp. "Doctor" is his first name, not a title.[1]

He is first mentioned in "CindeRiley", where Agent K believed that Dick, who recently got a makeover, was Dr. Skorpius in disguise.

He makes a physical appearance in "The Spy That Wasn't Riley". Here, Dr. Skorpius devises a plan to destroy Antarctica with a giant laser cannon, and Agent K goes on a secret mission to stop him. Dr. Skorpius captures Riley, who had stowed away, and attempts to burn her alive with boiling molasses. Later, after Agent K and Riley foil his plan, he is seen in the background escaping.

He later appeared in "Glee by the Sea", where he and his family visit the titular island resort at the same time as the Darings. He constantly gets drinks spilled on his Hawaiian shirts. Agent K spends her vacation spying on Dr. Skorpius and his wife, believing that he is up to no good. At the end of the episode, his plan is revealed to be a dance he invented called "The Earthshaker". This episode reveals that he has a son named Procter, who competes in a surf-off using a surfboard built by his father.

In "Canadian Fakin'", Dr. Skorpius and a goon named Tiny Evil plan to steal Agent K's weapons. Their plan gets foiled by Todd and C.A.R.

In the series finale, "Irreplaceable", Dr. Skorpius kidnaps Conrad Fleem, Agent K, and Dick, and takes over the Fleemco company. Upon hearing that Todd, Riley, and their friends are on their way to Fleemco headquarters, he sends brainwashed Fleemco replacements to stop them. At the end of the episode, Dr. Skorpius, his wife, and many of the replacements are left stranded in Antarctica.

He makes a cameo in the Broken Karaoke short "Evil As Can Be", alongside villains from other Disney Television Animation series.

Personality

Dr. Skorpius has a goofy demeanor, and the majority of his plans are not well planned. However, he is far more dangerous than he appears. His attempt to burn Riley with boiling molasses proves that he is willing to harm children for his own ends. His one soft spot is his son, Procter.
