You guys, don't be silly. I wouldn't be seen in a white limo after Labor Day.

–Abbey, "A Little Tiff"

Abbey Wilson[1][2] is a supporting character in The Replacements. She is one of Riley Daring's best friends.

Biography

Abbey comes from a rich family; she lives in a giant mansion, and she rides to and from school in a stretch limo.[2] Additionally, she owns a handful of horses,[3] and she has had some work done on her nose.[4] Abbey plays on the Quails baseball team[5], and she is a member of the Happy Hornet Scouts.[6] She also has a younger sister named Tiffany.

Personality

Abbey is spoiled and snobby, and she has a very sassy attitude. She has a habit of mentioning offhandedly how rich she is. She is often tone-deaf when it comes to relating with Riley, who was raised in a Victorian-style orphanage. Abbey often encourages Riley to go out with her crush, Johnny Hitswell, and she frequently shares dating advice from Teen Swoon Magazine. At times, Abbey can be hypocritical towards Riley. In “Davey Hunkerhoff”, she gets mad at Riley for breaking the title character’s heart and closing the pool, despite earlier advising Riley to use him to make Johnny Hitswell jealous. Abbey also thinks that she is prettier than Riley, as stated in "Bowled Over"; this leads to Riley entering a beauty pageant to prove that she could beat Abbey.

Abbey frequently shows obvious signs of envying Sierra McCool for being more popular than she is, often complimenting her whenever Riley shows anger towards Sierra; however, no matter how greatly she wishes to be as cool as Sierra, she always sticks by Riley and Tasumi's side.

She makes her first appearance in "Todd Strikes Out" and her last appearance in "R2: A Tale of Two Rileys".

Appearance

Abbey is a 13-year-old girl of African-American descent. Like other African-American characters in the cartoon, her lips are full. She has long, natural black hair (that matches her eye color) in cornrows and a blue hairband. She wears a pink midriff top, multicolored pants, and blue flats.
